Voyager Technologies has signed a mission management contract with Interstellar Lab to host the company's BioPod EDEN plant-growth experiment aboard the International Space Station. The agreement places Voyager in charge of the full operational chain, from payload preparation through on-orbit operations, as it builds experience ahead of its planned Starlab commercial station.

The deal positions Voyager as an ISS-era services integrator, taking on the practical work of flying another company's experiment while it develops the capabilities it will need to run a free-flying station. For Interstellar Lab, the arrangement offers a route to flight without building station-operations expertise in-house.

Under the agreement, Voyager will oversee payload preparation, engineering and integration, safety reviews, and on-orbit operations for the BioPod EDEN experiment. The deal value was not disclosed. The arrangement was reported by SpaceWatch Global on October 27, 2026.

BioPod EDEN is a plant-growth experiment destined for the International Space Station. Voyager's scope covers the integration process, the required safety reviews, and the management of the payload once it is operating on orbit.

For Voyager, contracts of this kind build the operational muscle the company will need to run its own station later. Managing other organizations' payloads now is how Voyager intends to earn the trust required to operate Starlab in the future. For Interstellar Lab, the contract is a path to flight that does not require developing station-operations capability internally.

The brief does not specify a launch date or further milestones for the BioPod EDEN experiment.
